how sweet to savour the victory
unexpectedly
at the last hurdle..
for me the turning point of the last leg of the race would be when alonso and hamilton were fighting among themselves at the start of the race,
whereas, massa and kimi did a great job shielding both of the mclarens from overtaking,
leaving alonso and hamilton in a dog-cat fight to regain a place in front..
hamilton goes off track.. have some problem with the gear box which cost him at least 30 seconds ( he might have won by virtue of finishing at top 6 )..
alonso’s mclaren wasn’t fast enuff…
kimi was driving the race of his lifetime…
great pit stop…
remember the Petronas F1 commercial, about this DJ who is doing a ’story telling’ on air whereas this ah pek was doing all the sound effects..
it takes great partnership to succeed…
and this spells Ferrari.
Congrats!! what a race man…

“Voting is not an expression of power, but an admission of powerlessness, since it cannot do otherwise than reaffirm the government’s supposed legitimacy.”
- Fred Woodworth
I understand when people say, ” why go and vote? we can’t make any difference”.
True enuf, the statement has some element of fallacy because when the ‘we’ comprise of a lot ‘we’s, we can make a difference. But that provided we still have faith in the system that we are believing in.
Take for instance the campus elections. Never in my wildest dreams that I would thought such matters such as choosing of student representatives at campus is such a hoo haa. That was before I know, read, and found that it is during this time that student’s shud have the chances, or should i say, they must, have the chance to voice out their opinions on issues, solid hard issues. This country’s education sysyem has gone from good, bad—to worst. Students are spoon fed and do not exercise their thinking. Plagiarise is their main crime for their knowledge and experience depriveness. Salute to the times of my parents when lecturers job is just to lecture–their experience and knowledge… and not like some of our lecturers today who their job is to read out a power point presentation prepared by a professor from an American University, pause between line and give some intelligent ellaboration just to show that he/she looks or sound intelligent, to press the next button… sad sad sad
But i do respect all those student who stands up for their rights. Who sees the problems in campus and has the courage to do a pretty job in giving a hard time to the already predetermined line up of student reps.
What is democry if students are locked up in colleges and blackmail them with nonsenses. Your future generation of so called leaders are those who had locked up, brainwashed- given the wrong perception of democracy… your future leaders… hah.
I would’t be surprise if the corruption rate in my country will increase double to ten folds in years to come if even in campus—student aged 18?19?20? are taught the wrong way of practising their rights.
But well, there are also those who just don care… “whatever lar… this all will not affect me… “
If one day, just one day, those you are choosing are in the real govt- and you choose not to care… like what Bummer says…
“if the price of petrol gone up-please don complain”
