I thought of a rather cruel trick I once played on a wasp. He was sucking jam on my plate, and cut him in half. He paid no attention, merely went on with his meal, while a tiny stream of jam trickled out of his severed oesophagus. Only when he tried to fly away did he grasp the dreadful thing that happened to him. It is the same with modern man. The thing that has been cut away is his soul.                                                                             George Orwell

Actually….. I am proud to be a Malaysian.

Actually….. I am more proud being in the stadium seeing my forefather’s sons of sons playing football against my countrymen – Ma-lei-sier-man.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Actually, this is not my first trip going to watch my country’s national side playing. In fact all of the match that I’ve been to in the past :

i.e. :

Malaysia vs. Brazil- whoah!!! =O

Malaysia vs. Man United

Malaysia get the trashing.

Anyway, the fact that Malaysia is playing in the Asian Cup against the Chinese gets me pumped up to go watch the game. Anyhow, the stadium is just next to the place I live in Bukit Jalil.

Fuiyoh…the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

I and bummer walk to the stadium from my house. As we approach the stadium we can feel the atmosphere is building up.

Me posing with my matchday ticket. Cost me RM 20. Takes me 3 days to locate it.

As I browse thru the stadium saw some ppl from China also. Bump onto this Chinese girl doing an interview with some China ppl. Fuiyoh.

Inside the stadium the atmosphere is simply marvellous.

Seeing here is the Malaysian team warming up before the game.

Sigh..Malaysian.

Some of the kedekuts who bought the RM10 tickets climbing over the fence to the grandstand section. But one positive thing from ther picture that we can see is that they are actually LINING UP!

Fuiyoh…

The Malaysian team were surely outclass by the calm and physically bigger and stronger Chinese players. Tactical wise Malaysia was lousy. The coach did not start two of crowd’s favourite player- Nanta Kumar and Indra Putra- which later on the match their addition bring some diference to the team. At least the defence looks more stable now with Nantha playing his basic footballing 101, and Indra Putra manage to find the net- which erupted the crowd into an ecstacy.

Macamlah they are winning. Trailing 4-1.

Balikla.

The Malaysian team lacks hunger.

The crowd of supporters were even worst.

By the time China scores their 3rd goal, feeling furstrated with lousy football by the Malaysian team, the y cheered and jump for joy for China’s deserving 3rd goal–thanks to a deflection own goal.

Boring game.

What a game. Dissapointment of course. But nevertheless a great experience for me to watch a football in a real stadium rather than at a Mamak stall or at home’s couch. Anyway, I don’t think I’ll be going back to the stadium to watch Malaysia’s 2 remaining group stages game against Iran and Uzbekistan. Rather watch that remaining game at home. Live with commentator who does not swear thruout the game.

Actually… i enjoy my trip to the game lar.

Byes for now.

Ps : Ivan was with us also..That fella came late.. so no photo..haha..sorry wey.
