Well done boys!!!

Now to San Siro!!!

I found myself one day debating with bummer about the Seven Wonders of the World list. I told him there is not one definite absolute list of the 7 wonders. He doesn’t believe me of course being a man of many opinions. But I tried to explain to him that I read in the papers before about an article about the wonder things and now they are votes going on online to choose the new 7 wonders of the world.

This is the original list of the “7 wonders” which i s called - The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (from left to right, top to bottom): Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum of Maussollos, Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

hurry!! there are approx 88 days left…..

As of for me, the greatest wonder ever happen to human history is when Jesus Christ walks earth. He is more than a great teacher as the world sees it today. The empty tomb proves that my saviour lives!!

Jesus’ Resurrection from the dead is as essential to the Christian faith as His death upon the cross. Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Paul emphasizes the importance of the Resurrection with his statement “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not” (I Corinthians 15:14-15).
Everything that we see and heard today :namely all those ‘fictional’ book and novel about Jesus having a bloodline that lives in France…Jesus married to Mary Magdelene…Jesus walks on ice instead of water…the bread that feed the 5000 thing…haha… davinci code.. james cameron is doing the a documentary on the subject too..all has been said will come in the Bible.

“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them –- bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping” (2 Peter 2:1-3 NIV)

Thus if you are in a crossroad or in a trap of believing that all the lies is indeed the truth, hope this scripture helps =)

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world” (1 John 4:1-3 NIV).

Happy Easter!!

or Pascha!! the Hebrew name for the feast of Passover.

我现在要去读书 liao

I had been a frequent visitor to 12th residential college in UM. The reason is because one of my buddy, the bum dude stays there since last year’s first semester. The place has been my frequent time-out place whenever I have gap between my class or bible study or just to lepak after 5my pm class (the traffic to my house in Bukit Jalil is horendous at that hours).

One thing for sure about the RCollege is that it leaves no parking for visitors. To parl legally, one would need to park as far as the swimming pool, or the untarred parking field opposite the Postgraduate centre. Thus, it is common for visitors to park at the roadside along the one-way College road. One of them is me. The sign of -clamping zone- are everywhere. But I think because of goodwill, the act was seldom done, and are only imposed durng midnights.

Thus, one fatefull day I went to 12th College with my girlfriend to partake our lunch…haha…partake. As usual I park at the roadside. We makan for around an hour. When going back to my car, to my surprise my car was CLAMP!!!What the heck…everyone’s car were not clamped but mine!!! CLAMP!!!

Gosh..am I angry?

A little. Because I feel justice was not served. But come to think of it, what justice am I saying? In the first place I am wrong for parking at the roadside. It is against the rule. I am in no position to fight or to argue-” how come all those Tom, Dick and Harry’s car are not clamped, but mine”. To compare the wrongs and wrongs in not right. I knew that. Anyhow, this world has always been a world of injustice. I guess anyone of you will face this somehow somewhere in your life. Like what Joyce and the bummer has shared before: the norm in our University examination. or our mid-term test to be exact.

One thing, most of our tests our conducted in our lecture hall. Everyone sits side by side. Test begins. Lecturer down there. And what do the students do? Take out their notes and copy word by word. Some of my coursemates socres full marks. I didn’t all of them did that. Some of them scored full mark for their effort. I salute you. But still, during our quizez, most of them coppied. And when other’s result can be laminated and framed, my result come out like crap. Is justice served here? Injustice is everywhere man.

In a world we live today, everyone seems to be looking out for themselves, nobody seems to care, nobody appears to have any honour or respect – from the top to the bottom. There is a political culture of spin and lies, in which no-one can be trusted. Marriage vows dont matter, half a generation of children are growing up without a father, the government is encouraging children into homosexuality and infertility, crime has soared, people seek escape in drugs, our hospitals are filthy, our politicians spend our money like water while we all live on debt, injustice is done in the courts and the poor are becoming poorer.  The Christian Faith itself is under attack from politically-correct local government and the media and indecency is the rule in the arts. Last but not least, we kill our own children in what should be the safest place on earth. How did it come to this?

We Christians must pray for our nation and its people.  Our love for our Saviour and our neighbour demands nothing less but our prayer. Such prayer needs focus.  We need to see things not as the world sees them, but as God sees them.  We have to filter our experiences through the word of God, not the other way around, so we pray with the mind of God.  On top of that, our prayer has to be more than: “Lord, do something!”  It needs to be: “Lord, what can I do?” Or as Isaiah said, “Here I am, send me.”  It is said, “When we work, we work. When we pray, God works.” God works miracles.  That is good, as it will need a miracle for our sad, dysfunctional nation to turn from its belief that mankind knows best and to trust in God again. What was written 3,000 years ago is still true: “Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord.”  (Psalm 33:12)

Come back to the story, I went to the 12 college office to pay the fined fee of RM30…there goes my money man. Down the drain. Haha..But God is faithfull…he will always provide. I guess so.hehe…

Anyway,I am not angry of the whole injustice thing. I am just afraid of the discomfort of the hot sun and the time spent walking to and fro to the office- that might affect the ONE beside me at that time.

Thanks MunTeng for being patience.

And sorry for all the discomfort that I have infilct you. Truly.

PS: kawanku bummer tak layan langsung. Cuma beritahu ku tuk pergi ke offis..balikla..hehe
